چکیده

Heat exchangers play an important role in power, the chemical industry, petroleum, food and many other industrial productions, while compact heat are more favored applications due to their high thermal efficiency small size. This paper summarizes research status of different types exchangers, especially results transfer pressure drop printed circuit so that researchers can have overall understanding development get required information quickly. In addition, this analyzes several main working fluids selected puts forward some discussions suggestions on selection fluids. Finally, according existing published literature, performance evaluation indexes summarized compared, which is convenient for developers better grasp design direction.

Thermal-Hydraulic Performance of Metal Foam Heat Exchangers

Due to their large surface-area-to-volume ratio and tortuous structure, metal foams hold promise for heat transfer applications. Both of these factors increase the heat transfer by enhancing the mixing and surface area. The main disadvantage associated with their thermal-hydraulic performance is relatively higher pressure drop, resulting in larger pumping power requirements if they are used in ...

Experimental and simulation study on the air side thermal hydraulic performance of automotive heat exchangers

Flat tube heat exchangers with louvered fins were applied in order to meet the performance requirements and compactness in automotive air conditioning systems. Experimental and simulation study focusing on the air side thermal hydraulic performance of automotive heat exchangers were performed in this article. Test results showed that the heat capacity of a condenser with 5.4 mm height louvered ...

Predicting thermal–hydraulic performances in compact heat exchangers by support vector regression

An alternative model using support vector regression (SVR) based on dynamically optimized search technique with k-fold cross-validation, was proposed to predict the thermal–hydraulic performance of compact heat exchangers (CHEs). 48 experimental data points from the author’s own study were used in the present work. The performance of SVR with different regularization parameter c and kernel para...

Thermal Performance of Borehole Heat Exchangers

An important issue in the design of systems using borehole heat exchangers is to find costeffective methods to construct the borehole heat exchanger so that heat can be injected or extracted from the ground without excessive temperature differences between the heat carrier fluid and the surrounding ground. This paper presents an overview of experiences and current activities in this field.
